Defender Kervin Kenton Joins the City

Utica, NY - Utica City FC is excited to announce the signing of Kervin Kenton, a seasoned defender with significant domestic and international experience. Kenton played for Detroit City FC, where he was known for his strength and technical ability. He also represented Costa Rica on the international stage, bringing a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the squad.

Utica City FC General Manager Tommy Tanner expressed his enthusiasm about the signing: “Kervin is a big, strong, and technical player who will bolster our defense. His leadership and experience will make an immediate impact on the team."

“I’m Happy to be joining the club and helping the club with my work on and off the pitch,” Kenton said. "I’ve met the coach and several Utica players throughout my time playing in the USA. They’ve all told me amazing things about the club and the league, therefore, my decision to join. It’ll definitely be a bit of an adjustment, but I’m excited for what’s coming, the fans, the teammates and helping the team achieve the goals at the end of the season!”

Kenton will join Utica City FC as the team prepares for the upcoming MASL season. The Home Opener is set for December 29th at 3pm at the Adirondack Bank Center.
